Chemistry Goes Live: the Periodic Videos and Live Experiments
The University of Nottingham has collaborated with video journalist Brady Haran to pioneer the use of YouTube for communicating actual science to the widest possible audience. The most successful channel of the Periodic Table of Videos (PTOV) has been running for almost 10 years and has had over 172 million views from over 200 different countries. Short video clips and live chemical demonstrations, involving dry ice, colour change solutions and nice smelling molecules!
